As it flows through the engine, preventing friction and wear, it picks up dirt and contaminants. Motor oil helps keep your engine running clean. Can't find your manual? No problem! A Jiffy Lube technician can access this information. Let's take a step back and look at why oil changes are important and why your oil should be changed at least as often as recommended in your vehicle owner's manual. When you consider that it will likely take you longer to perform an oil change and that your time is valuable, you may decide that the money you save by handling your oil change yourself isn't worth it. Why deal with that time-consuming mess yourself when you can bring your vehicle to Jiffy Lube where you can feel confident the technicians will handle the used oil responsibly? So, do-it-yourselfers need to collect the dirty, used oil and safely transport it to a recycling or disposal center. Just dumping it is not only bad for the environment, but also illegal. Here's something else that makes a do-it-yourself oil change take longer: disposing of the used oil. That means you would likely do just four oil changes in a year, while every day Jiffy Lube services thousands of vehicles with the Jiffy Lube Signature Service ® Oil Change, which means Jiffy Lube technicians have experience and follow a streamlined, professional process. Let's say you perform your own oil change. How long does an oil change take if you do it yourself? Quick answer: probably longer than 45 minutes. If you have been following the manufacturer's recommendations for service, and the oil change is part of regularly scheduled preventive maintenance, experienced Jiffy Lube technicians should be able to perform your oil change quickly.

The Decepticons were eventually repelled, but Jazz was left badly damaged, and needed extensive reconstruction before he could take up active duty once more. The Decepticon then took Jazz out of the fight by blasting off one of his arms. He was next pitted against Laserbeak's master, Soundwave, who proved impervious to Jazz's flamethrower. When the Ark came under a full-frontal siege from the Decepticons, Jazz narrowly avoided getting blasted by Laserbeak, the first intruder to penetrate the base's defenses. The Decepticons attacked, injuring Jazz, and, scared at the thought of being made "a mess" himself, Sunstreaker abandoned his comrade and deliberately drew the Decepticons near a US military encampment so the humans would drive them off.Perchance to Dream Decepticon Dam-Busters! Jazz and Sunstreaker were sent on a covert recon mission to scout out Fortress Sinister but the Autobot pretty-boy blew it by showing off, drawing the attention of Thundercracker and Skywarp. Jazz and Sideswipe raced each other as they carried some younger humans away from the nearby town. When the dam's structural integrity was compromised, Optimus Prime ordered Jazz and some others to get the neighboring humans to safety before imminent flooding destroyed the area. The Enemy Within!Īt some point, the Autobots met the Decepticons in battle at Sherman Dam. At the end of Brawn's subsequent adventure, Jazz was relieved to see that he had survived and was back to his old self. Brawn became violent and paranoid, and Jazz was unable to keep the tiny but mighty Autobot restrained. ![]() Jazz and a handful of other Autobots were beginning repairs on their crashed spaceship when an electrical accident altered Brawn's personality in a very bad way. At the climax of a battle with the Decepticons over the buried ship, Jazz fired his weaponry down into it, and it was pulverized. After questioning the boy, it became apparent that the rescue ship had to be destroyed. Jazz befriended (and kidnapped) a young boy, Sammy Harker, whose dad worked at the castle where the Autobot rescue ship had been partially unearthed. Jazz, along with Trailbreaker, Mirage, and Bluestreak, was dispatched to England under Optimus Prime's supervision. The Man of Iron, one of its crew, had awakened a number of times in England's history and had become a local legend. It was discovered that after the Autobots crash-landed on Earth, a rescue ship was sent after them which was buried somewhere in England. When questioned about what had transpired during their mission, the survivors lied and claimed not to remember any of it. Megadeath refused to divulge where he had stashed the neutralists, so the Autobots left him behind to die to his own device. They instead hid, then ambushed and crippled Megadeath when he came to investigate their lack of action. Finding their mettle, the Autobots forewent any attempt to rescue either themselves or the civilians for the Decepticon's entertainment. Afterwards, Megadeath gave the Autobots two hours to find his neutralist prisoners before he detonated five Neutronic bombs and obliterated the entire region. Jazz and the others failed to even take up arms, so thoroughly had the Decepticon succeeded in psychologically brutalizing them by that point. In one of his later sadistic games, Megadeath gave five of the six Autobots blasters, and offered them a chance to win their freedom they only needed to stop him from killing Stampede, the only unarmed member. Jazz nearly snapped during the ordeal, though Megadeath briefly paused his torture to ensure he didn't the master tormentor wouldn't allow Jazz to be insulated from further pain by a broken psyche. The Magnificent Six were taken captive, tortured, and humiliated by the Decepticons. ![]() The siege ended with the neutralists betraying Jazz's band to the enemy. They found themselves entrenched for a week while the neutralists grew to resent their presence. A retaliatory attack proved more difficult to repel, as the group faced off against Megadeath and his elite cadre. Alongside Prowl, Sunstreaker, Wheeljack, Inferno, and Stampede, he released the town of Yuss from enemy tyranny, and was hailed a hero by the resident neutralists. Before Optimus became leader, Jazz was part of the self-styled Magnificent Six, a team of Autobot warriors tasked with infiltrating Decepticon-held territories and sowing discord from within. 2/18/2024 0 Comments Grapefruit smoothie ideas![]() Place ingredients in blender in order listed.maple syrup or agave to taste (optional).1 ruby red grapefruit, peeled and cut into quarters.2 small carrots, peeled and finely grated. If you’re using a Vitamix, you could probably get away with not grating the carrots, but I like the extra smooth texture that grating them gives. The trick to making a smooth drink from whole, raw carrots is to peel and grate them first – a little time consuming, but worth it for the creamy texture you’ll get (and much cheaper than buying carrot juice!). Carrot juice and booze did not strike me as a stellar combination (although I think this could change my mind), so I decided to go the healthy route and turn my stubby little garden carrots into a frothy smoothie. Since I made drinks for both rhubarb week and pea week, I figured it was only logical to whip up a carrot based drink as well. Seriously, green smoothies taste like mangoes or bananas or apples, not spinach. This caused an ongoing rivalry between Mitsubishi and Subaru and resulted in a diverging of enthusiasts' opinions on which one car is truly better. Twenty-five years and four consecutive world rally championships later, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo is regarded as one of the most iconic sports sedans to date. Drivers not afraid of sitting on the "wrong" side of the car can get this powertrain in older Japanese-market Evos, all of which offer similar levels of tunability and excitement, but for a slightly lower cost. When Mitsubishi came out with the first Lancer Evolution in October 1992, it had managed to create a car that would eventually out-rally a Subaru. For the North American market, the Evolution VIII and Evolution IX were the only Evo models to officially offer the legendary combo of a 4G63 engine and manual transmission. This performance won't come cheap, though: a good Evo of any year continues to command high premiums, but it also offers higher levels of power and tunability right out of the box. That rally car provenance means that this Mitsu is supremely capable over both dirt and tarmac roads, and can adapt to all its driver's needs with its powerful turbocharged four-cylinder engine, rally-bred suspension and advanced all-wheel drive system.
